This animated short film is the conclusion of my four years at Saint John's University, being my senior thesis. Senior art majors hosted an exhibition at SJU, which summarized our work over the year and highlighted our growth over our four years of education. We were challenged to experiment and grow, so being a designer, I decided to dive into animation and motion. This project is reflective of an experience in my life, losing a loved one. In result, losing your confidence (shadow).
My work consisted of the film (installation), a letterpress print, and a poster. All of which related to the central idea and theme of the film, being lost. The installation was meant to be reflective of the time period of which most of my memories come from with my grandfather, who this idea was based on.
